How Do You Diagnose?
A urologist would assess the patient with PSA testing, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) which usually reassures the patient. If anything suspicious is revealed then a biopsy is required. If it is moderate to low grade, observation is recommended because it does not warrant the risk of treatment. We save lives by treating aggressive cancer radically with surgery or radiotherapy.
